Impacts of Climate Change on the Brazilian Electric Sector
Abstract
The development of humanity is closely linked to the use of energy in its various forms. This study examines the potential impacts of climate change on the Brazilian electric sector, focusing on hydroelectric, wind, and solar energy generation. Through a bibliographic analysis, we explore the influence of climate variability on energy production and the vulnerabilities of energy infrastructure. The findings highlight the need for integrating climate change projections into energy planning to ensure the resilience and sustainability of the sector.
