Paper Title
Efficiency Analysis of Agricultural Cooperatives Using Dynamic DEA: A Case Study of Dairy Farm Cooperatives
Abstract
The DDEA model was created for this study to measure the technical efficacy of Thai dairy farm cooperatives from 2017 to 2021with three inputs (business cost, operating cost, and total assets) and two desired outputs (total revenue and net profit). Additionally, the capital reserve served as a carry-over factor between later cooperative operations. The findings indicate that from 2017 to 2021, the average term efficiencies increased for the first three years before falling. It should be noted that the average term efficiencies were all less than the average overall efficiency. This study also demonstrates that a capital reserve impacts operating performance in subsequent operations. Therefore, the cooperative should distribute its annual net profit to the capital reserve fund.
