Paper Title
BACKWARD DESIGN AI TEACHING AND LEARNING MODEL FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH AI CONVERGENCE LEARNING

Abstract
This paper aims to develop a teaching and learning model for customized convergence education by applying AI digital textbooks in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), and to analyze the effectiveness by reorganizing the lesson contents accordingly. The teaching and learning model proposed in this paper is a backward design-based AI teaching and learning model that consists of four stages: analysis, pre-assessment, classroom activities, and summarization of results, and is developed to apply AI digital textbooks in the future. We reorganized the lesson contents according to the developed teaching and learning model and applied it to actual students to verify its effectiveness. It was applied evenly from the 3rd grade to the 6th grade of elementary school, and the effectiveness analysis was divided into cognitive, social, and definitional areas. The results showed that students' problem-solving skills, self-directed learning skills, and creativity were significantly improved, and it was concluded that communication and collaboration skills were also greatly improved. It was also found that students' confidence in learning was greatly improved as their concentration in class increased. It was concluded that convergence education using AI digital textbooks in the future can provide students with real customized learning and greatly improve their satisfaction and learning ability.
