Youth Civic Engagement of European Values Through Social Networks

Abstract
This paper endeavours to scrutinize the most effective approaches to engaging young individuals in embracing European values, and analyse the most interesting communication guidelines through social network sites to get young people more involved in civic participation. Using focus groups and a survey made to youngsters from Spain, Germany and Romania, we have found 4 different groups of young people regarding the importance they attach to social media as a way to promote European values.
