Paper Title
Helicopter Parenting, Leisure Constraints and Recreation Awareness

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the helicopter parenting levels, recreation awareness levels and the levels of leisure time constraints experienced by families whose children participate in regular recreational programs. In this study, the relational survey model was utilized since it includes the examination of parents' views on the dependent variables in the research in terms of the independent variables determined. 350 parents whose children participated in regular recreation programs, determined by using the convenience sampling method, constituted the sample of this study. The data were collected with a data collection form consisting of two parts. In the first part, the demographic characteristics of the participants were included, and in the second part, the Perceived Helicopter Parent Attitude Scale, the Leisure Time Barriers Scale and the Recreation Awareness Scale were included. Depending on the parametric test assumptions, Pearson Correlation Analysis was used to examine the effects and relationships of dependent variables on each other. The findings of the study reveal that there are significant positive relationships between Helicopter Parental Attitude and Perceived Leisure Constraints and Recreation Awareness.
