Using the CORPRO Chinese Independent Corpus to Analyze Customer Reviews of Sun Moon Lake SUP Activities on the KLOOK Platform：A Case Study on Customer Satisfaction

Abstract
As Taiwan's waters open up, water-based leisure activities have flourished, becoming increasingly popular recreational choices among the public. According to a Social Lab survey released on July 13, 2022, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) topped the list of popular water activities, generating 37,408 online discussions. Further analysis of netizen discussions on SUP spots nationwide over the past year revealed that Sun Moon Lake SUP activities garnered the most attention. Therefore, exploring visitor feedback and opinions on this activity is crucial. This study utilizes KLOOK Travel's Sun Moon Lake SUP experience activity visitor reviews as the research object, employing the CORPRO Chinese Independent Corpus Semantic Analysis Tool for text analysis. The results indicate that visitors have high overall satisfaction with Sun Moon Lake SUP activities, positively evaluating the activity instructors, equipment, water quality, and services. Notably, visitors were particularly satisfied with the instructors' professionalism, patience, and friendliness. Additionally, visitors praised Sun Moon Lake's natural scenery, considering SUP activities an excellent way to appreciate its beauty. This study provides valuable information to assist Sun Moon Lake SUP activity operators to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. In addition, the research findings can also be used as a reference for other water recreation activity operators to understand tourist needs and preferences and develop more popular consumer experience activity products. The research results can help tourism operators and relevant stakeholders gain an in-depth understanding of market demand and consumer opinions on recreational activities, thereby optimizing products and services and promoting the development of the tourism industry.
