Implications of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in Dealing with Anxiety: A Literature Study on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Abstract
Cognitive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) has gained widespread recognition as a major therapeutic approach in the management of anxiety, prompting the need for a comprehensive literature study to explore its implications in anxieties management. The main focus of this study is on key components of CBT, including the identification and restructuring of negative thinking, as well as behavioural techniques designed to alter maladaptive responses. Through the analysis of a wide range of scientific papers, the study revealed the consistent effectiveness of CBT in reducing anxiety levels in different population groups and types of anxieties. In addition, the study highlights the long- term benefits and durability of CBT interventions, with an emphasis on the potential for lasting positive outcomes. The practical implications of the literature findings are discussed in depth, affirming the importance of integrating CBT into clinical practice for emergency management. Overall, this literature study provides valuable insights into the diverse implications of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the context of anxiety management. The synthesis of the knowledge found contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of CBT in anxieties management and provides guidance or future research and clinical applications to improve mental health.
