<strong>Abstract</strong><br>
Big data is described as large and varying sets of information that multiplies at a dynamic rate and is frequently
stored in computer databases and analyzed through the use of software that is capable of handling their large amount and
complexity. In this paper, the history of big data is discussed, and its applications are presented. Among the main sectors of
the applications of Big Data Analytics including healthcare information, telecommunication, financial firms, retail sector,
education, and the development of new products. The paper also further provides the challenges of the application and usage
of big data analytics in developing Countries. Finally, conclusion and future research are also presented.
