Political Participation in the people of HuaiMek District, Kalasin Province, Thailand

Abstract
The research objectives are to study the political participation in the people of HuaiMek District, Kalasin Province of Thailand. The research is a quantitative research. The studied population is HuaiMek people. The sample was selected using Taro Yamane method and data collection was performed using questionnaire. The results showed that the sample had a moderate level of political participation with a mean of 3.33. By aspect, the sample displayed the highest mean of 3.42 in ‘demands from various social groups, followed by 3.40 in ‘taking parts in interest groups and political parties has high political interests’ at statistically significant difference of 0.05.
