The attitudes towards studying with the gender-diverse persons in Police Administration program, College of Politics and Government, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University
Abstract
The research objectives are to: 1. To study the attitudes of Police Administration students in studying with gender-diverse persons of College of Politics and Government, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in order to preserve and enhance the group’s potential; 2. To compare the attitudes of Police Administration students of different sexual orientations as defined by personal factors. The research is quantitative research. The population are 321 Police Administration students selected using Taro Yamane method. The research tool is questionnaire. The statistics used are mean, percentage, average, and Standard Deviation. The results showed that the sample had attitudes in studying with LGBTQIA+ the most with a mean of 4.62. By aspect, it was discovered that sample group had the highest attitude towards studying with people with diverse sexualities in terms of granting equal rights with a mean of 4.67. This is followed by interests towards the gender-diverse students and the role of LGBTQIA+ is the society with a mean of 4.59. The comparison of attitudes in studying with people of diverse sexualities of Police Administration students, College of Politics and Government as defined by personal factors showed that sample with different gender, age, and college year have different attitudes towards studying with students of diverse sexualities.
