Post-Prison Guidelines for Reducing Recidivism in Drug Cases in Thailand
Abstract
The article focused on exploring post-prison strategies to reduce recidivism rates in drug-related cases in Thailand by examining the perspectives of criminals, various ideas, theories, and legal principles including addressing, rehabilitating, and correcting individuals who have committed offenses, along with associated concepts, philosophies, and legislation. Supervising, rectifying, and reintegrating criminals. Setting standards upon release from prison both nationally and internationally. Thailand now holds the highest incidence of recidivism in drug-related crimes, where freed offenders frequently engage in repeat offenses. Therefore, additional measures should be put into effect. Proposing the implementation of rehabilitation programs for inmates close to release or those who have been released from jail as a strategy to reduce recidivism in Thailand. with increasing penalty for repeat offenders.
