Paper Title
INVESTIGATION OF DAMAGE DISTRIBUTION FOR CARCINOMA TUMOR UNDER LASER IRRADIATIONFOR MULTILAYER SKIN
Abstract
Abstract - Photothermal therapy is a treatment technique that has attracted attention as an alternative to conventional surgical techniques. It is based on the photothermal effect, wherein light energy is converted into thermal energy, and facilitates rapid recovery after treatment. In this study, the temperature distribution during laser induced thermotherapy in cancer treatment investigates using a multilayered skin (epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous fat, and muscle) with an embedded carcinoma tumor model. With the help of numerical calculations of the finite element method, we simulate the distributions of the temperature in skin and tumor. A 3D simulation model for calculating the heat extent and estimating the volume of damaged tissue is studied.
