Paper Title
SURVEY OF INTENSIVE CARE NURSING PRACTICE DEALING WITH MEDICAL DEVICES

Abstract
Background and purpose Digital Transformation (DX) and simulation education have the potential to contribute significantly to the training of nurses in the increasingly sophisticated field of intensive care. Remote management systems for equipment and the sharing of medical information using electronic medical records will lead to the creation of a 'critical care patient management platform' that will enable many medical professionals to experience valuable cases simultaneously. However, the clinical practice of the ICU nurses who supported the recovery of the COVID-19 critical patient has not been consolidated and shared across facilities. Therefore, this study investigates the actual situation of intensive care unit nurses who handle medical equipment with a view to developing DX-type training and establishing a critical care management platform. Methods This study period is from December 2023 to March 2024. It will be a cross-sectional study that will include a questionnaire survey of nursing practice in handling medical equipment in intensive care units. The subjects of the study are the eight hospitals of the National Centre for Advanced The subjects will be intensive care unit nurses who have been working in intensive care units for three years or more and who belong to one of the 140 hospitals belonging to the eight national centers for advanced medical specialties and the National Hospital Organization, and who have agreed to cooperate. The survey will be conducted without names using a web-based survey system. Keyword - Nursing Education, Digital Transformation (DX),Ventilator, Dialyzation, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation(ECMO)
