Paper Title
HOPE AND SCHOOL BELONGING: SCHOOL SUPERPOWERS
Abstract
Abstract
The latest data from the United States Center for Disease Control and from researchers around the globe indicates increases in the anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues exacerbated by the global COVID-19 pandemic. In response, counselors and educators in school settings can focus on investing in protective factors, such as hope and school belonging, that have been shown to buffer mental health issues while supporting positive school outcomes. Research around hope and school belonging and suggestions for implementation are detailed within the manuscript.
