Paper Title
Has The Flipped Learning Method Effect on Self-Care of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes?
Abstract
In Flipped learning, the teaching class is a place for discussion on the knowledge of the learners(patients).Since the activities that should occur outside the training session replace teaching in the training session, this method is called flipped learning. A semi-experimental intervention was conducted on the type-2 diabetic patients. Data was collected by Self-Care of Diabetes Index (SCODI).SCODI measures self-care behaviors in patients with type-II diabetes. The results cleared that the mean self-care score and its variations’ mean in the intervention group in the post-test were significantly higher than the control group (P = 0.001). Considering the effectiveness of remote training methods on improving the self-care behaviors of diabetic patients, it is suggested to apply this teaching method in comprehensive health service centers along with other training methods.
