NOBEL PRIZE IN ECONOMICS SCIENCES: CONSEQUENCES AND SUGGESTIONS

Abstract
Abstract - The main aim of this research is to study the main characteristics of the Nobel Prize in Economics Sciences. We have studied the main features of the Nobel Prize winners in Economics Sciences, which covers 1969 to 2023. After studying comprehensively the characteristics of the winners, the main findings revealed that: (i) most of the winners are from Economics, (ii) Most of the winners belong to USA institutes, (iii) Most of the winners are men. Due to the above results, we suggested some recommendations: (a) how to increase the number of other subjects relating to Economics, such as Finance, Business Studies, and Management, etc. (b) how to rise the number of other institutes from other countries, specifically from the African and South American countries. (c) how to increase the number of female researchers to obtain the Nobel Prize. Hence, the current research will be fruitful for researchers, the Nobel Prize committee, and scholars in many contexts.
