Paper Title
A STUDY ON KEYLOGGERS: SILENT CYBER SECURITY TOOLS
Abstract
Abstract - This project covers the design and implementation of Keyloggers, which is a malware type. Keyloggers are a form of spyware that monitors the activities carried out on a computer system and stores sensitive information such as the keystrokes made by the user and stores it in a file to be sent to third-parties. Keyloggers have also been used as a tool for cybercriminals to steal sensitive information such as email passwords, credit card pins, passwords to sites that contain more sensitive information, e-payment details, chat records from users. Keyloggers are a major threat to the security of information and can cause the loss of large amounts of data thereby affecting the confidentiality of data. Keylogging malware can infect your computer through many of the same mechanisms as other common viruses, but keyloggers can also be intentionally purchased and downloaded.
