Paper Title
CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE PROMOTION OF SAKE TOURISM FOR FOREIGN TOURISTS

Abstract
Abstract - Wine tourism not only has wide-ranging, positive effects on the tourism and transportation sectors, but is also a form of high-priced tourism. Wine tourism attracts wealthy foreign tourists, which increases the amount of money spent by tourists per capita and leads to the premiumization of regional brands. Sake and wine have much in common, as both are brewed alcoholic beverages and luxury grocery items. Much can therefore be gained from wine tourism in the promotion and development of sake tourism. Research has shown that it is possible to provide premium wine tourism by collaborating with stakeholders, enhancing the acceptance system so that it can accept large numbers of foreign tourists, and implementing branding strategies. Based on previous research, in this study, I discuss whether sake tourism should become a premium, high value-added experience like wine tourism.
