PRINCIPLEOFTHE UI GREENMETRIC WORLD GREEN UNIVERSITY: SYETEMETRIC REVIEW

Abstract
Abstract - This systematic review study was aimed to synthesize the UI GreenMetric management principles, and compare the world university ranking of Kasetsart University. It was searched databases of Pubmed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google scholar for original studies on the‘Systematic review of UI GreenMetric’( 46,263 articles), ‘UI GreenMetric’ (83,842 articles), and ‘UI GreenMetric in 2019-2023’ (1,597 articles). The results show that most universities adopted the six categories of the UI GreenMetric System, which were Setting and Infrastructure (SI), Energy and Climate Change (EC), Water (WR), Waste (WS), Transport (TR), and Education & Research (ED) to develop sustainability in their universities. The key factors were policy-based management and the participation of stakeholders. As a result, Kasetsart University was ranked the 1st in Thailand out of 47 universities and the 40th in the world out of 1,050 universities in the UI GreenMetric Rankings 2022.
