POVERTY REDUCTION: LAND PROPERTY AND PENSION SAVINGS
Abstract
Abstract - There is an effective debate about how to achieve poverty reduction in developing countries, but not enough discussion of what we mean by “poverty reduction.” There is an effective debate about how to achieve poverty reduction in developing countries, but not enough discussion of what we mean by “poverty reduction.” “Poverty reduction” is often used as a short-hand for promoting economic growth that will permanently lift as many people as possible over a poverty line. But there are many different objectives that are consistent with “poverty reduction,” and we have to make choices between them? In Mongolia, many people who has no job and no income, they are living only by their parents’ pension. They are impossible to save their pension. Mongolia has big land, and lands are for state of Mongolia. it means that all lands are belongs to governments. Also most of people can’t use their land for economic outcome. Because of government does not issue a permission to citizens for land property owner. This has some causes. A land is valuable property owned. But companies who has money, they buy lands from citizen to build apartments and villages. This study investigated how to decrease poverty according to pension and land property and its management and legal regulation. Result of this study shown that government give land property permission to citizens, they are able to run a household enterprise as collateral for a loan. Therefore, the government should support and Personal supplementary pension system and its legal regulation. This study will be investigating more detail for theoretical and practical side furthermore.
