Paper Title
EVALUATION OF A SKIN LESION SCANNER FOR EARLY DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS OF SKIN ABNORMALITIES
Abstract
Abstract: Recent advancements in digital dermatology have led to the development of skin lesion scanning applications capable of early detection and diagnosis of various skin conditions. This paper presents an analysis of a novel skin lesion scanner application ("Skaner zmian skórnych") designed to assess skin abnormalities, providing initial diagnostic suggestions. We focus on the accuracy and utility of this scanner in identifying various skin lesions, including actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, benign keratoses, dermatofibroma, and melanoma, among others. The study emphasizes that while such applications offer significant benefits in early detection, they are not substitutes for professional medical evaluations.
