Paper Title
PHYTOAL EXINSTILBENOIDS TRANS-RESVERATROL AND TRANS-Ε -VINIFERIN OF VITISVINIFERA L. CVS. RKATSITELI AND SAPERAVI, AS THE MAIN STRESS METABOLITES UNDER CROWN GALL INFECTION

Abstract
Abstract - The aim of the current study was to establish the stilbenoids as an indicator(biomarker) of grapevine resistance to bacterial diseases. V. vinifera L cvs. Saperavi (red) and Rkatsiteli (white) ,were infected with a pure culture of Agrobacterium tumefaciens. The experiment was held in 2022 in 4 zones of Eastern Georgia, as follows: : a) AOC Mukuzani (Saperavi grape variety) on a 17-year old vineyard located in Gurjaani district on EutricCambisols. b) AOC Napareuli (Saperavi grape variety) on a 40 year old vineyard on EutricCambisols and Calcic Kastanozem type of soil; c) Tsarapi (Rkatsiteli grape variety) on a 40 year old vineyard grown on meadow cinnamonic-calcaricCambisols and Calcic Kastanozem type of soil. d) AOC Tibaani (Rkatsiteli grape variety) – on a 17 year old vineyard grown on cinnamonic calcarenous-calcaricCambisols and Calcic Kastanozem type of soil. The development of bacterial cancer was observed for 6 months and after fractions containing stilbenoids from healthy and infected vine trunk were isolated and analyzed by HPLC . . The experiment confirmed that : in all 4 zones, the concentration of trans-resveratrol in healthy trunk of Saperavi and Rkatsiteli was significantly higher than the concentration of trans-ε-viniferin. The highest content of trans-resveratrol was observed in the healthy trunk of Rkatsiteli vine of AOC Tibaani.; Trans-resveratrol and trans-ε-viniferin were identified as the main stress metabolites under Crown gall infection and their levels changed depending on the variety and the zone.
