SLACK RESOURCES ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE: STUDY ON VILLAGE-OWNED ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Abstract - This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on the effect of slack resourceson organizational performance in village-owned enterprises. This study used a survey approach. High discretion slack measured eight-point statements and low discretion slack measured six. Organizational performance in this study is measured through two dimensions: financial performance with five statement points and social performance with three statement points. The research sample comprised 308 village-owned enterprises classified as Advanced in East Java Province. The sampling technique is carried out by probability, that is, random selection of samples. Respondents consisted of the directors of village-owned enterprises. We use Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to test hypotheses. The results prove that high discretion slack and low discretion slack positively influence organizational performance. This means that high discretion slack and low discretion slack can improve the performance of the Village BUM organization.
