MAINTAINING HOTEL SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH HUMAN RESOURCES: SANCTOO SUITES & VILLAS, BALI
Abstract
Abstract - The aim of this study is to understand how Sanctoo Suites & Villas manages its human resources to ensure its sustainability. The study specifically examines human resource management during the Covid19 pandemic and the post-Covid19 period, as well as its impact on cost behavior. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with 20 leaders at various levels within the organization, including top, middle, and lower management positions. The study's findings demonstrate that the behavior of human resource cost at Sanctoo Suites & Villas is symmetric when associated with revenue. However, it becomes asymmetric when related to sales volume (room occupancy rates). During the Covid19 period, especially in the early stages, the behavior of human resource costs exhibited asymmetry in both revenue and room occupancy rates.
