Paper Title
PERSPECTIVES ON THE DETERMINANTS OF SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION: WHAT CAN BE DRAWN FROM THE EXISTING LITERATURE? PRELIMINARY EVIDENCE

Abstract
Abstract - Purpose - Reasons/aims of the paper. Research on economic diversification has been active for more than 25 years. The focus on its sustainability perspective denotes a high interest from the academicians with significant contributions notably during the last five years. Most publications are oriented massively toward a micro-sectorial analysis coping with one sector at once such as tourism, healthcare, hospitality, fishing, agriculture, aquaculture, etc. The macro-level concern remains limited and is translated by the existence of a few studies reflecting on the sustainability of economic diversity at a global level with a multi-sectorial perspective. To fill this gap, the present work aims to address the findings from the existing literature that deals with the sustainability of economic diversification from a global perspective, draw the patterns, and reflect on the insufficiencies that could represent new paths and directions for future research. Keywords: Sustainable; Economic: Diversification; Literature review; Theoretical Framework, Model.
