Abstract
Abstract: Digital innovation continues to fuel business transformation. Organizations have realigned their strategic direction on enhanced adoption of digital technologies to leverage the opportunities provided by the new age technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI). Enterprises can leverage strategic advantage in talent - a key differentiator- by adopting Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management (HRM). More than ever, the Human Resources (HR) function is increasingly regarded as a trusted advisor, helping the organizational units get through the transformational phase created by disruptive technologies. This study provides insights on how the HR function has evolved as a strategic partner by deployment of AI-related technological advancements as it contributes to building organizational capabilities and making organizationsmore competitive, thus creating organizations that win in the market. Furthermore, the research examines the challenges faced in HRM by the deployment of AI. Insights are showcased on future directions of potential research that can be conducted in this emerging field.
