A NOTIFICATION MEDIA MODEL FOR CITIZENS FOCUSED ON WATER CRISIS

Abstract
Abstract - No one can deny the essential nature of water for humans. However, there is still no systematic model for water management with a media approach. This article used the grounded theory method and interviews with 31 experts in the fields of water, media and sociology, to determine the media factors affecting the notification of water crisis in a media model. The findings indicated that media variety, journalists’ independence, the political nature of the water crisis in the media, the interaction between media and industry, educational institutes, social capital, audience sociology, trust building, democracy, gatekeeping, technology and journalism interactions, creation of water journalism association, agile media interaction, and creating water journalism major are among the important factors.
