THE EXTENDED EFFICACY OF THE COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL MOTIVATIONAL ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (ONLINE-CBME) ON REDUCING PROBLEMATIC SMARTPHONE USAGE AMONG YOUNG ADULTS
Abstract
Abstract - Empirical evidence that problematic smartphone use can have a negative impact on young adults' lives supports the findings of the current study. Young adults' physical and mental health is negatively impacted by it. Therefore, early prevention is necessary, and more research is required to increase awareness of this problem. This study examined the effectiveness of the online-CBME program over time to see if it had any lasting effects after it was put into place. The paired t-test was used to analyse the data. The fact that problematic smartphone usage decreased after the extended post-test in four weeks showsonline-CBME intervention program is highly efficacious.
