APPLYING THE GENETIC ALGORITHM TO A SERIAL MULTI-ECHELON INVENTORY MODEL

Abstract
Abstract - In this paper, we establish multi-echelon inventory just-in-time (JIT) model, considering the basic costs of transportation and holding, and regardless of the uncertain factors encountered in the manufacturing process and the trading process and establish a mathematical model to use genetic algorithm solve the problem with the minimum total cost.Genetic algorithm to jump out of the local optimum to find the global optimal point and the characteristics suitable for solving complex mathematical models. Finally, find the optimal solution suitable for this model. Keywords - Multi-Echelon, Genetic Algorithm, Jit Inventory
