A SERIAL MULTI-ECHELON INTEGRATED JUST-IN-TIME INVENTORY MODELUSING BAT ALGORITHM

Abstract
Abstract - This paper presented a basic multi-echelon JIT inventory model, considering the transportation cost, holding costs and the uncertain factors for a serial supply chain in which member exchange information. It is to make purchase, production and delivery decisions, jointly. In the past few year, heuristic algorithm is often solved for difficult and complicate problem as NP-hard. Therefore, this paper applies the bat algorithm to solve problem, and the experiment result shows that bat algorithm be able to optimize the model to minimize inventory costs.
