THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN NEPOTISM AND PRESENTEEISM: THE CASE OF SELECTED ORGANIZATIONS IN ETHIOPIA

Abstract
Abstract - The study examined the relationships between nepotism and presenteeism in the selected organizations in Ethiopia. A total of 255 employees (M=202 and F=53) in selected organizations (17 public organizations and 9 private institutions) were involved by a convenience sampling method both online and in a face-to-face mannerto fill the questionnaire. The regression analysis revealed thatnepotistic relationships significantly and positively predicted presenteeism whereas preferential policy explained it negatively.
