Paper Title
A NEW SMART GREENHOUSE TO COPE UP WITH THE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE: DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE STUDY
Abstract
Abstract -The adverse effects of climate change is threatening agriculture by repeated droughts and temperature rise. This paper envisions developing a smart greenhouse, equipped with programmable, automated sensors and actuators to grow plants and facilitate agriculture. The smart greenhouse optimizes plants growth by regulating heat, humidity and soil moisture, while conserving water at the same time. Our design, implementation and performance study reveal that the smart greenhouse is capable of automatically maintaining ideal humidity, temperature and soil moisture, thereby enabling suitable growth of the plants, without explicit human intervention.
