Paper Title
CONTROLLABLE SYNTHESIS AND IN SITU CHARACTERISATION OF NANOPARTICLES WITHIN CONTINUOUS FLOW MICROREACTORS
Abstract
Abstract - Synthesis of nanoparticles with desired properties while monitoring of evolution of the reaction process is challenging. Using microfluidic reactors coupled with a microspectroscopic monitoring system, the controllable synthesis of silver nanoprisms was achieved in a continuous flow format, while in situ monitoring of rapid changes in reactions was realized. In this paper, the design, fabrication and optimization of the microreactor and the in situmicrospectroscopic monitoring system will be presented and discussed for continuous flowsynthesis of silver nanoprisms.
