A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF PEOPLE PARTICIPATION IN LOWER NORTHERN PROVINCE GROUP I, THAILAND
Abstract
Abstract - The objectives of this research were to synthesize attributes of participants in the Lower Northern Province Group I, consisting of 5 province of Thailand; Tak province, Phitsanulok province, Phetchabun province, Sukhothai province and Uttaradit province. The research employed systematic review methods during 2007 – 2021 using the academic database in Thai library integrated system (Thailis). The results in 70 research studies from the systematic review used in this synthesis were as follows: (1) Most of the researchers' genders were males (71.4%). (2) Most of the academic positions of advisors were assistant professors (51.4%). (3) Most of the researcher characteristics were thesis (72.9%). (4) Most research was completed in 2007 (34.3). (5) Most of the research area was Phitsanulok Province (38.6%). (6) Most of the analytical units were people (94.3%). (7) Most of the participation issues were local development and local planning issues (42.9%). (8) Most of objectives of the study were to study the level of participation. (9) Most of characteristics of participation were participation in operation. (10) Most of the sampling used simple random sampling technique (34.3%). (11) Most of the research did not specify the duration of data collection (60.0%). The statistics used in the research showed that all research employed descriptive statistics. Moreover, a small number of inferential statistics was used. Most of them used One-Way ANOVA analysis or F-test (51.42%).
