Analysis Of Iptv Adoption In Indonesia Using Modified Unified Theory Of Acceptance And Use Of Technology 2 Model

Abstract
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) defined as a technology which is able to delivers multimedia services through the Internet. As a VAS (Value Added Services) product of fixed-broadband, IPTV has the potential to become a source of substantial new revenue for telecommunications businesses. Nevertheless, sales achievement of IPTV-based product still indicate low product acceptance. Thus, it is necessary to study the factors that influence trends and customer behavior in adopting IPTV products. In this study, the main research object leads to Cable fixed broadband-IPTV customers behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the user's perception of IPTV products, to determine whether the performance factor expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, content and habit have a significant impact positively on the behavior intention and use behavior in the IPTV technology Indonesia, as well as to determine the moderating effects of age and gender on the influence of the factors in the model Modified UTAUT2 in the context of the adoption of IPTV services. The technology acceptance model used in this study is Modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (Modified UTAUT2). Modification of the model is done by removing the moderating variables experience as well as adding independent variable content.
