Strategy And Performance Optimization Self-Help Groups (KSM) In Surabaya
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the internal factors consist of variable production capabilities (KPd), the ability to market products (KM), corporate strategies (SP), entrepreneurial skills (KW), technological innovation (IT), and the availability of resources (KS) and external factors the company consists of variable ability of competitors (KPs), the ability of suppliers (KPm), the ability of customers (KPl), and a network of partnerships (JK) to optimize performance of Surabaya KSM. The population in this study are all KSM were recorded in Bapemas and KSM KB Surabaya and Surabaya's city and each village and sub-district of Surabaya, on the assumption that the relative population characteristics homongen, then the withdrawal of the sample using simple random technique (simple random sampling). Respondents sampled are entrepreneurs/ business owners. The number of samples of 150 respondents. Results of this study are that the influence of the independent variables are internal factors and external factors together against the performance gained significant level of 0.068 (significant at the 10% level). For the development of KSM in Surabaya, we need to get more serious attention in order to improve employers' ability to compete on regional and national markets and even internationally with regard both internal and external factors.
