Abstract
Abstract - 210Pois a natural alpha-emitting radionuclide derived from 222Rn in the 238U decay series that has exhibited a conservative behavior in polluted hydrographic basins. In this study, samples of surface waters, groundwater and sediments have been collected and analyzed for 210Po from Águas de Santa Bárbara spa, a selected site of the Pardo River watershed at São Paulo State, Brazil.The acquired dataset allowed to determine a mobility coefficient for 210Pothat is a relevant parameter for further studies focusing the presence of this radionuclide in the environment.
