REDUCING INTERACTION? THE IMPACT OF SMART HOTEL ON REDUCING PERCEIVED HEALTH RISK IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract
Abstract - Given the global spread of the coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) outbreak since early 2020, social distancing is a fundamental step in preventing the spread of the virus, and new technology systems may reduce the risk of infection for hotel customers by reducing physical contact with hotel staff (Shin & Kang, 2020).Based on TAM,the purpose of this study is to explore the impact of technology readiness, technology amenities on the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived health risk, and further effects on booking behavior. According to the findings, this study proposed practical suggestions for the hotel industry.In academic research, it will facilitate future research to conduct in-depth exploration of consumers’ perceived health risk.
