Paper Title
EFFECTS OF DEUTERIUM-BASED EMITTING DOPANT ON THE LIFETIME OF GREEN ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODES

Abstract
Abstract - In this study, the emitting material DIC-TRZ:Ir(mppy)3 was used to fabricate green OLEDs, and the effect of deuterium-based emitting dopant, D-Ir(mppy)3, on the lifetime of the OLED is studied.AFM…………..The PEDOT:PSS coated on the ITO substrate can reduce the roughness of the ITO surface, reduce the short circuit problem inside the device caused by the spikes on ITO surface, avoid the burning phenomenon when the voltage was applied to OLED, and prolong the lifetime of the green OLED. The optimum thickness of PEDOT:PSS was studied. The current density and luminance of the OLED with deuterium-based emitting dopant have better performance. Under 6 V bias, the traditional Ir(mppy)3 and deuterium-based D-Ir(mppy)3 have the luminance of 290.5 and 377.1 cd/m2, respectively. The lifetime of these two OLEDs was measured at a fixed voltage of 3.5 V. The initial luminance and half-lifetime of green OLEDs with traditional Ir(mppy)3 and D-Ir(mppy)3 are (36.3 cd/m2, 2.6 hr) and (95.4 cd/m2, 5.9 hr), respectively. It can be seen that the deuterated material D-Ir(mppy)3 has the effect of extending the lifetime of the OLED, and it is extended by 2.3 times without affecting the luminous color.
