Paper Title
Copper Adsorption Study in Aqueous Media using Commercial Activated Carbon

Abstract
The present work aimed to study the adsorption of copper in aqueous solution using commercial activated carbon. With the characterization analysis performed it was possible to verify the presence of graphite in the activated carbon sample using XDR. Another finding was the presence of oxygenated groups and aromatic rings in the structure of the activated carbon observed in infrared analysis. When the adsorption kinetics, the pseudo-first order model was the best fit to the experimental data obtained. Keywords - Adsortpion, Copper, Carbon Activated, Caracterization.
