Reading from the Same Page: The University of Malta‘s Strategic Plan
Abstract
Strategic planning has become a central feature of education institutions. This is especially important in Higher Education. Universities are perceived as centres of learning, where students acquire knowledge and skills that will they will use later on in life. This paper compares the strategic plan of the University of Malta with other universities and considers the implications of crafting and implementing such a strategic plan within the context of a small nation state.
