Paper Title
A Survey of Users Responses to Phishing Attacks in Saudi Arabia

Abstract
Phishing attacks are common in many countries, causing various problems around the world. Recently, Saudi Arabia has topped the list of the world's most exposed countries to phishing attacks in the last three years, and phishing is continuing at a broader level across the country. Individuals, companies, and even government departments have been targets of phishing attacks, with the attacker aiming for either financial gain or particular purposes. Furthermore, the majority of attacks in Saudi Arabia over the last few years have been conducted by attackers from outside the country, but the situation has shifted, and many of the attacks have originated within the country itself. The main reason behind targeting Saudi individuals is due to ignorance of phishing attacks. In this paper, we conducted a survey to determine and analyze the extent to which participants were aware of phishing attacks and if they were able to distinguish between phishing attacks and regular statements. As a result, after evaluating the responses of the participants and analyzing the data, it became apparent that even though Saudi people are more aware of phishing attacks, a significant number of participants were victims of phishing and they still lack the understanding of how to deal with the attack and what to do if they were targeted.
