Paper Title
Smart IV Saline Monitoring System using RF Transmitter

Abstract
In the contemporary clinical practice framework, administering intravenous (IV) saline solution has been a basic responsibility of each patient. With a wide variety of IV saline solutions, the major purposes of injecting saline include flushing wounds, regaining electrolyte loss, and dehydration from the body. Saline injection into a patient may seem like a simple task, but if it is not properly supervised, it could have disastrous results. The patient may die as a result of either an excessive or insufficient saline flow rate or a reverse flow of blood into the saline tubes because the saline gets over. Many individuals lose their lives to an imbalance in the saline flow rate as a result of a lack of healthcare experts. So, this issue has been tackled by developing an IOT-based saline monitoring system. The system has been developed by using a load cell of capacity 3 KG (which is more than sufficient for general healthcare purposes) for measurement of saline solution. Saline solution data has been measured by using a load cell and then this live data has been transmitted from the patient station to the nurse station and the alarm has been generated for a specific saline solution through software according to the level remaining in the saline bottle. Load cell calibration has been done for exact saline level measurement and indication. Two station RF transmitter receiver is used for transferring data because it can transmit data over a range of 150 meters without any Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. A prototype has been built up for demonstration and working properly. The system developed will help thousands of hospitals or local dispensaries to get rid of the shortage of staff and help patients improve their treatment.
