Paper Title
A Software Evolution Process Model: Analysis of Telecom Networks Failure causes and Impact on System Health
Abstract
This paper presents a study on telecom network failures impact on the software system evolution. It investigates various failure causes er to dtect the failures, which have the most impact on the overall system health and evolution process. Moreover, the study focuses on recovery time after each failure in various failure scenarios. The model represented in the paper is based on Actor Network Theory (ANT) of software evolution using system dynamic environment. The result shows that both cyber security attack and application server issues can cause total software system failure, with a large impact on system health evolution process,. Cyber security attacks and application server failures have a direct impact as well on other system components.
