The Use and Effects of Blogging For EFL Student Teachers
Abstract
This study explores the use and effects of blogging ,a popular social medium,by EFL student teachers in Turkey.The starting point is the analysis of students� blogging behaviour reflected in their answers to a questionaire and their reflections on the issue collected as short comments.It also considers their awareness and preferences of the existing EFL related blogs and their attitude towards them as potential instruments for academic development. As a result,I offer a complementary perspective to the already existent instructional use of blogging and suggestions as to what teacher trainers should do to improve the learning dynamics in an undergraduate environment.
