Teacher Competency Development Management Model by Self-Development Under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a teacher competency development management model by self-development under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Data were collected by interviewing experts who had knowledge and/or relevant experience. with the development of teacher competency consisting of six people obtained by a purposive sampling, including school administrators, educational supervisors, teachers in higher education institutions according to the specified qualifications. It was found that the development of teacher competency by self-development method under the Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 refers to the development guidelines to increase knowledge. competences and skills related to instructional management and the modification of teachers' attitudes toward the performance of teachers' responsibilities under the Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in five aspects, namely 1) Self-study 2) Training seminars 3) Study visits 4) Experience training in related agencies and 5) Study from documents. Preparation and development of teacher competency in line with education needs of teachers and in accordance with the context of the Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 from the condition of developing teacher competency as mentioned above was to obtain an effective model for teachers' performance development. By using the created competency development model, a suitable model for the context in the area will be obtained. Keywords - Teacher Competency, Development, Self-Development, Management Model
