Paper Title
Preparation of Graphene Composite Grease for Ultra-Low Noise Bearing Application

Abstract
The Graphene composite grease was prepared for the ultra-low noise bearing. Graphene oxide(GO) was also prepared by modified Hummer’s method following the ferrite reaction for the low friction coefficient and high abrasion resistant as well. In order to get homogeneous dispersion and prevent from the agglomeration of GO the cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC) was necessary to react with GO. The final modified GO with ferrite (MGO) was reduced with hydrazine monohydrate and then reduced modified GO (MrGO) was obtained. MrGO was investigated with Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and XRD. In this study we also used lithium grease for the mixing with MrGO, and it was evaluated with Anderon Meter for the assurance of low noisy effect caused by MrGO and with Turbiscan tester for the dispersion stability of MrGO in the grease. The results indicated the MrGO was well prepared and it affected the low noise of bearing. Turbiscan results confirmedMrGOwas well mixed and stably dispersed in the grease.
