The Process Development of Public Relation, Search, Screening, Selection, and Preparation for Admission to Scholarship Student in The Kru-Rak-Tin Project

Abstract
This qualitative research aimed 1) to study factor affecting public relation, search, screening, selection, and preparation for admission to scholarship student in The Kru-Rak-Tin Project, 2) develop the process of public relation, search, screening, selection, and preparation for admission to scholarship student in The Kru-Rak-Tin Project. The sample group were 48 people; lectures of The Kru-Rak-Tin Project, personnel from high school that student in the project graduated, personnel from the destination school where the student go to work, local organization participating in student screening, and student of The Kru-Rak-Tin Project. The data collection consists of in-depth interview, focus group discussion and content analysis. The result found that 1) the factors affecting the process were public relation and search. Operation in each area have a very short time and public relation is not truly targeted. Information in some areas is incomplete, requiring further search. There is confusion in filling out income information. Some areas have few students interested in attending, therefore, it may be considered to expand the area to accommodate early application. As a result, student miss out on the opportunity to apply. For screening, it found that some areas have students who do not meet certain criteria. Selection found student interested in joining the program lack the qualification of being a teacher. Preparation for entering to be a scholarship student in The Kru-Rak-Tin Project found that, basic adjustment should have a survey of basic knowledge of each scholarship recipient. The mental and physical health of each scholarship recipient should be studied in order to plan a student support system. 2) The process was developed. It is divided into 4 processes; namely public relation process, screening process, selection process, and preparation process to enter The Kru-Rak-Tin Scholarship Project.
