Paper Title
Innovative Multi-Agent System for Building-to-Building Renewable Energy Sharing in Microgrids
Abstract
This paper presents a multi-agent system (MAS) approach to facilitate the sharing of renewable energy excess between buildings, namely building-to-building renewable energy sharing. The MAS includes a hierarchical control architecture to optimize energy flows and decision-making based on the availability and demand of renewable energy in each building. The paper also proposes this approach to address the challenges introduced by the intermittent nature of renewable sources in Microgrid management and control. The proposed system optimizes the use of available AC-DC renewable energy in each Microgrid entity using the flexibility of loads and the complementarity of renewable sources. The effectiveness of the proposed system is demonstrated through simulation.
