Paper Title
Study of Physiological Traits in Wheat Using Generation Mean Analysis

Abstract
In the present study, heritability and gene effects of some physiological traitswere investigated usingsix basic wheat generations(P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1:1 and BC1:2) derived from “Gascogen × Winter B. C. of Roshan” under normal and terminal drought stress conditions. The results showed thatthe additive-dominance model was notgood enough forthe chlorophyll acontent(Chla), the chlorophyll b content (Chlb) and leaf area (LA) in both conditions. It meansother complex factors were involved in the inheritance of these traits. Based on the results duplicate epistasiswas observed for Chlband LA in normal condition andfor Chla under terminaldrought stress condition. So, it seems that selection should be delayed to the advanced breeding generations for these traits. The highest and lowest amount of narrow-sense heritabilitybelonged to Chlb (0.59) under terminal drought stress condition and stomatal conductance (0.07) under both conditionsrespectively. Keywords - Chlorophyll a content, Chlorophyll b content, Heritability.
